How to enable sensitive content on Telegram
Also called the 18+ or NSFW setting. It is one account-level switch, it takes about a minute, and it syncs across all your devices. The only catch is iPhone — which is exactly the part most guides get wrong.
The short version: on Web, Desktop and Android turn on “Show 18+ Content” (called “Disable filtering” on the web). On iPhone there is no toggle — set it once on Web or Desktop and it syncs to your phone, because the setting lives on your Telegram account, not the app.

Toggle missing or greyed out?
Two causes, in order of likelihood: your account has not confirmed you are over 18 (Telegram may prompt you to verify your age first), or your app is out of date — update it and reopen Settings → Chat Settings. If it still will not show on mobile, set it from Telegram Web, which always exposes it as “Disable filtering” under Privacy and Security.

Why is there no “Show 18+ Content” option on my iPhone?
Apple’s App Store review rules prevent Telegram’s iOS app from exposing the sensitive-content switch directly. The setting still applies to your account — you just have to flip it once on Telegram Web (web.telegram.org) or the Desktop app, and because the setting lives on your account rather than the device, it syncs to your iPhone within a minute or two.
The “Show 18+ Content” toggle is greyed out or missing on desktop. Why?

Does turning it on show sensitive content everywhere?
