Yekaterina Lisina in 2026: Her Viral Shaquille O'Neal Moment + Her Telegram
A 17-second clip of Yekaterina Lisina, the Guinness-record tallest model, meeting Shaquille O'Neal lit up social media in March 2026. Here's what's confirmed, plus her Telegram on Lovitro.
Yekaterina (Ekaterina) Lisina, the Russian model and former Olympic basketball player who holds the Guinness World Record as the tallest professional model, is back in the spotlight in 2026 thanks to a short, lighthearted video alongside NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal.
What's happening
In early March 2026, a clip of Lisina meeting Shaquille O'Neal began circulating widely on social media and was picked up by entertainment outlets including Yahoo, Complex, and uInterview. The roughly 17-second video shows the two towering figures comparing their heights, standing together as they pose for the camera.
Lisina stands about 6 feet 9 inches (around 2.06 meters), while O'Neal is listed at 7 feet 1 inch, so the pairing made for an unusually rare side-by-side of two of the tallest public figures most people will ever see together. In the clip, O'Neal puts his arm around Lisina and playfully plants a kiss on her cheek; she is heard giggling and joking that the tight hug is making her sweat.
The moment quickly resonated online. Reports noted the video drew hundreds of thousands of likes, with commenters joking about the pair's combined height and praising O'Neal's good-humored demeanor. Coverage emphasized the novelty of the encounter rather than anything beyond a friendly, public meeting.
For context, Lisina was born in 1987 in Russia. She represented the Russian national basketball team at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, winning a bronze medal, before transitioning into modeling. In addition to her tallest-model record, she has been recognized by Guinness for having the longest legs on a woman. She has since used her platform to promote body confidence and inclusivity in fashion, including founding a venture focused on representing exceptionally tall women.
